Samantha Davy Dress Me Beautiful Designer of the Year

Ok it’s my birthday today so I thought I’d drop a post for you that was image heavy to keep you guys going. This is a local designer; Samantha Davy who graduated from Manchester Met University. She recently won the Designer of the Year Award at the dress me beautiful fashion show in Leeds. The inspiration for the collection below, comes from different cultures and hand crafts, she intended for the pieces to have a laid back festival style.

My personal favourite picks from the collection are the studded shorts, perfect now the weather has started to come good and also the waistcoat with the fringe detailing, which fails right into the modern craft trend that is big for spring summer!
