My First Ever Outfit Post

In my last article Wardrobe Malfunction; When You Don’t Know What To Wear I talked about how we all have issues from time to time deciding on what to wear. The particular occasion that got me was a night out I was going on where I didn’t really know what sort of venue I would be attending. In the post I talked about the different things you can do to help avoid those situations when you really don’t know what to wear. In the comments section I started getting requests for me to post up pictures of what I wore that evening. So I thought it would only be fair to post up pictures of the very same outfit chose to go with that evening. Now, I don’t have photos from the night out so I just quickly whipped out the clothes I wore and took the shots. The photos were taken on my macbook using the isight camera and photobooth. So I apologise in advance if they don’t match up to those taken by any of the regular outfit bloggers. N.B: After taking them I realise how much trouble it is to actually try and get a full body picture of yourself.
The main reason I don’t do outfit posts’s is due to time and generally I didn’t feel my wardrobe would be varied enough to come with something you hadn’t seen on a regular basis. Also I didn’t really intend for this blog to feature outfit posts, so rather than do it half heartedly I’ll leave the outfit posting to the experts. My next post for the men’s will be another in the essentials series as I have kind of neglected that for a while.

You did a great job. Your photos look good! My first outfit post was terrible. I was taking the pictures with my iPhone, it was pretty bad. But hey, you’ve got to work with what you have. Your outfit looks very nice, I like the addition if the scarf to it. I definitely agree, t is difficult to capture your entire body when taking the photos yourself. You look great
Yeah the camera on my isight is pretty low res as well next time I’ll have to try it with something with more megapixels.

Great to see you blogging about Men’s outfits, black and white can look so stark or you can end up looking like a waiter/waitress. The long scarf knotted at the front has given the outfit creativity and and the essence of looking a more ‘dressed’ up look. Well done Arash for making black and white look clean, formal and creative.

Congrats!!! It’s a little nerve wrecking doing outfit posts, actually when I very first started I totally was too chicken to show my face. I would take outfits pics in the mirror and cut the face off, lol. And it still takes me quite a few tries to get a couple of shots I feel good about. So well done, you look great. I really really dig the skinny scarf, looks so stylish with the deep v.
PS re: why you don’t take outfit posts, your wardrobe might surprise you and I think it would be nice to see you once in a while

Arash, you cut a dashing figure! And did a pretty good job on the self shots considering the cams on your computer. I love the simplicity of your outfit. Just enough of everything. The v-neck and the scarf is such a nonchalant version of a shirt and tie, and I just love basic black pair with the shock of white- it works very well.
I hope you do more outfit posts, but yeah, not a daily one. Just easier to connect to the blogger when we see your style- and you! GREAT post.

Love the jacket, the sleek overall style, the black and white combination, and I like how the scarf stands out with the white top under it. I’m really unsure about my own outfit posts, it takes a lot of courage and unless you’re a pro at it, it’s very time-consuming. Loved this look, I need to get my man to wear something like this

I really like the post dude. The photos are good. I think you should mix up the full body shots with some close-ups of the outfit details.

Love it! That’s a totally hot look. I’m soooo happy you posted the photos. Maybe you can just humor us once in a while with an OOTD picture. Taking full body photos is definitely a challenge, I hear you on that. I find that getting all the elements, (head, body, hands, legs, feet), to cooperate into a single photo is my biggest challenge! Hair looks great? The hand will look like a claw. Face has a good smile? Shirt will be lopsided… Sigh.

Arash You are such a cutie!! (not in a flirting way btw) but seriously you look good, and good job on taking the pictures with your macbook, it turned out to be really nice pictures. I have the same glasses too LOL arent that big frame glasses from UO is the best???
Anyway, wearing Tshirt with blazer is my main staple if I’m confused on what to wear, dress with blazer for an evening out to a formal dinner or Tshirt with blazer and jeans for afternoon formal meeting!! Great post as usual!!
