5 Essentials Every Woman Should Own

A while back in the gentlemen’s corner of the blog I did a post on a starting guide to men’s style. I guess in the past I may have assumed such a post for the ladies side of the blog may have been over looked, possibly as I believed the female readers that frequented the blog wouldn’t really value such an article. However my girlfriend’s actions recently have led me to believe otherwise. Maybe it’s me? maybe I’m too organised but whenever I’m getting ready in the morning or evening be it for work or play I’m always prepared with what I’m going to wear. With my girlfriend on the other hand it’s a different story all together. Unless she has something new, I’m usually greeted with sighs of “ I have nothing to wear” and piles of clothes on the bed. It can take multiple try ons each of which try and perfectly match the weather, her mood and the occasion, but inevitably end up in her running late for work unsatisfied with her selection.

• A pencil skirt – Choose an A line if it’s more flattering for your body shape, this piece should be simple and refined for versatility and longevity.

• A crisp white shirt – Whether dressed up or down it will always be chic. Wear it on an evening or to work with heels and trousers or a skirt. For a glam casual look, wear it with dark washed jeans.
