Stay Stylish Stay Exercising

I know what you’re thinking…exercise? Yeah that’s right exercise people! That’s the theme of this week’s post. I know a lot of you probably think that it has no relevance to being ‘stylish’ however that’s the purpose of this post to change your mind. I’ve been wanting to do a post about exercising for a while now but didn’t really know how I wanted to approach it. Anyway I’ve decided my angle and thought now it’s time to deliver. Some people won’t care for this post and some people will undoubtedly disagree with me but at least hear me out…
Personally I find exercise a crucial part in helping one creating their own individual, unique image. I’ve always been a very active person, playing sports when I was younger then as I got older I started working out more. The last 2 and half months I’ve been doing the P90x work out plan so I’ve been hitting the exercise thing pretty hard. This has prompted me to come up with this post.
The way I see it is that if you’re spending a lot of time and effort on your clothes and personal grooming it should be only natural to extend that to making sure your body is in the best shape. Now I don’t mean that everyone should look like Men’s Health cover models, I just mean doing some exercise each week will result in a better self of being which will be translated to your overall confidence.

Looking and feeling your best certainly can be achieved through wearing the right clothes for you but that can be taken to the next level if your body is ready to take on the battering of the daily grind. So I’d encourage everyone to participate in some sort of exercise, it doesn’t have to be boring, you don’t have to go run for miles take up a class, learn a new sport anything that gets your heart rate up.
I’d love to hear your thoughts I know exercise is not everyone’s cup of tea but… if you make it fun

I couldn’t agree more!! Exercise is the other half of my blog!! I’m all about fashion and fitness!! It’s so important to take good care of your body. After all, you only get ONE! And I also believe it makes you feel better about yourself overall.

I’ll have to check out your blog for sure! Thanks for commenting
I’m really, really not into exercise (even though I should be) so I don’t have much to say about this topic except that I should be less lazy and start working out more!
Thanks for commenting Kim
I really loved this post and I think you’ve raised an obvious point that most of us overlook, forget or choose to ignore.
Looking your best certainly has everything to do with feeling your best, which having a fit body can do wonderfully. Besides, when you have a great body, you don’t have to worry as much about whether something’s going to fit/suit you.
I just feel sad when the desire to stay healthy turns obsessive and the word used is no longer healthy but skinny. And I’m sorry to say I’ve been there – not through crazy dieting or anything, but simply through a state of mind.
I guess if we can just concentrate on trying to be healthy and get some physical activity every week, the rest should take care of itself.
That being said, I’m so glad you wrote on this topic. I feel motivated to work harder now!

Aww I’m glad you liked the post. Yeah I think as soon as you mention the word ‘diet’ people think you’re trying to loose weight even though you maybe just adjusting your diet to be more healthy.
