Hot Pick of the Week: Sutor Mantellassi

You’ll probably notice a bit of a theme amongst the Hot Pick of the Week articles at the moment, shoes. To be honest I’ve always preferred clothes over shoes, but just recently I’ve been finding loads of footwear that I think is fantastic. As you know accessories and footwear can be key pieces to an overall great look, the best thing about shoes is that they can totally transform an outfit. You may have subtle, plain clothes that can be uplifted with the right pair of shoes. A good pair of quality shoes also says a lot about yourself and women will most definitely notice if you’re shoes are not up to scratch.

This week’s hot pick comes from the an Italian shoe brand by the name of Sutor Mantellassi, I stumbled across the site after someone mentioned the brand on reddit. The company was born from the Mantellassi brothers in Florence, Italy, 1912. They shared a passion for unique, elegant, hand made shoes. I’ve been looking at the Spring Summer 2010 collection and loved the use of colours, in classic men’s styles, the soles on the shoes also feature a nice blue finish, to give a bit of extra unique appeal.
